Home inspections are crucial when buying a property because you need to know exactly what structural and functional condition the home you’re investing in, is in.

Wear and tear with ANY home is completely normal, but there are many things to consider during this important part of your deal:

1. Find a licensed, certified, & reputable inspection company. TRUST me, this is sooo important (todays home inspection feat: 😁)

2. Focus primarily on your non-negotiables such as roof, HVAC system, plumbing, and electrical paneling (as these determine the insurability of your home and without homeowners insurance you have no home 🫣)

3. Are the cost of repairs in your post-purchase budget? If not your realtor should negotiate, negotiate, negotiate! In the event the sellers refuse to agree to terms you’re at peace with, dumb the house - it won’t be worth the headache in the long run lol ✌️
