We are bringing the beach to Southwest Broward!
We recently gave CREW Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton a behind-the-scenes look at the planning, partnerships, and strategy that brought Miramar Cove from vision to groundbreaking.
Nine women who play a significant role in our development sat down together for "Anatomy of a Deal," hosted by Sunbeam Properties & Sunbeam Development and Stiles.
Director of Retail Leasing & Development Manager Edmée Morin-Collins moderated, joined by Bizi Hernandez, Luz Weinberg, Margo Utter, Chris Rotolo, Heather France, Jackie Di Stefano, Dominika Bishop Bestova, and Kristen Sweatland, covering entitlements, design, leasing, and day-one operations.
A few things worth sharing: community input and municipal processes shape a project this size years before construction begins; our public spaces get the same attention as the buildings (nearly a third of our 125 acres is water and open space), and because Sunbeam is financing and holding Miramar Cove long-term, planning isn't dictated by outside interests.
When completed, Miramar Cove will deliver 2,874 residences, 400,000 square feet of retail and dining, a 185-key hotel, and over 40 acres of parks to Southwest Broward. First phase opens Q4 2028.
