Daniele Gordon has been in real estate since 2004. Daniele services residential property owners. I owed my Dad that much since he had helped me through school.

Daniele Gordon is a Realtor Broker Associate with Coldwell Banker Realty and specializes in residential and commercial real estate in South Florida. I have been a Realtor since 2004 and my focus has been to assist my clients in making the best decision in one of the most important financial and emotional investments in their lives. The day I graduated from the University of Miami Graduate School of Business, my Dad turns to me and says I think you should get your real estate license. Over the years, my parents bought and sold many properties, and they saw that I had an interest in the field. I did a few deals here and there and then decided to leave the corporate arena and pursue Real Estate full-time. My broad depth of knowledge from years of experience is my greatest benefit to the buying, selling, and investing public. My vast market knowledge, integrity, advanced education/experience, and use of cutting-edge technology is a large part of how I can help make a real estate transaction as seamless as possible for you. Daniele graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Business Administration in Management Information Systems, Marketing, and E-Commerce in 1998 and 2001, respectively. She also has a Master of Science in Higher Education specializing in College Teaching and Learning from Kaplan University. Daniele has a true passion for real estate, so when she is not delivering her clients' dreams, Daniele is a Real Estate Instructor at Gold Coast Schools. She takes pleasure in traveling the Caribbean, Africa, Europe, and the continental United States. Daniele is a sports car enthusiast and a soccer Mom to Brice.

The most stressful part of a kitchen remodel isn’t choosing the backsplash. It’s realizing halfway through that disposal wasn’t included, the electrician found extra work, and nobody explained who approves the costs.

A strong contractor conversation makes the invisible parts visible before demolition begins:

1. “Who will actually be in my home?”
Clarify daily supervision, subcontractors, and your main point of contact.

2. “What is excluded from this quote?”
Confirm if demo, permits, electrical upgrades, and cleanup are covered to avoid expensive surprises.

3. “What is the payment schedule?”
Tie payments to completed milestones rather than dates alone, and ask about lien waivers.

4. “Who handles permits and inspections?”
Never assume a permit is unnecessary. Ensure the contract lists expected inspections.

5. “What happens to the schedule if materials are late?”
Map out working hours, dust control, and how delays are communicated.

Before signing, always verify:

✅Valid license and insurance

✅Recent comparable projects and references

✅Detailed written scope and change-order process

Here are 5 things I would NOT do before selling your home. 👇

Sellers often start with the kitchen because it feels like the room buyers will judge hardest — but the goal isn't to make it look like every kitchen online. It's to remove distractions, improve function, and let buyers see the value that's already there.

1️⃣ I would not choose a finish that fights the house. Buyers don't need neutral everything — they need it to feel connected.
2️⃣ I would not make open shelving the only upper storage. It photographs beautifully styled, but buyers still count the closed storage they'll use every day.
3️⃣ I would not install counters that outrun the comparable homes. Match the market first — a premium upgrade doesn't automatically create the same value at resale.
4️⃣ I would not rely on one harsh ceiling light. Consistent bulbs, clean fixtures, and useful task lighting can change how the kitchen feels without a full remodel.
5️⃣ I would not replace appliances only to follow a trend. Condition, fit, and consistency matter more — review the nearby competition before spending.

I know I said 5, but cant hurt to add another one:

6️⃣ I would not renovate before checking if it solves a real problem in your specific market. That's the difference between a smart upgrade and wasted money.
