Spring has arrived! 🌸 Here are a few clever tips for spring cleaning your apartment home:
- Work top to bottom in your cleaning so that you dust any cobwebs or high surfaces first and clean the floors last.
- Gather supplies that are running low, that you’re saving for a special occasion, or that will expire in the next few months. Use them up this week so you have extra space and don’t have to carry half-empty bottles into this next season.
- Ventilate your space daily to remove harmful odors, air out any damp areas, and leave your home feeling fresh.
- Keep yourself from feeling burned out by a big cleaning job by setting timers for breaks in between!
- Use a spring cleaning week to tackle tasks you don’t usually get to during the rest of the year, such as handwashing woolen items, wiping down walls, cleaning under bulky furniture, and washing your dishwasher or sink drains.
