Meet Mr. T! (not that one you're thinking of!) He moved down from nor cal, sold his house there and was looking to move back to where he grew up here in Orange County. Mr. T was aware of the new agency situation however did not want to commit to one realtor JUST YET (because of a bad experience he had-we will get to), but was willing to sign a property showing form with me to see 3 homes at a time. His bad experience was because he met with another realtor before we met who was trying to show him homes all over several counties and make him sign an agency agreement for all those counties. Mr. T did not want that because he barely just met that agent. He moved on because he felt pressured and like he wasn't being listened to. Moving on, we had crossed paths and as I wouldn't want to work with anyone until they interview me and I them, we got together and I listened to his concerns not only about his house hunt but also the new agent law's. I explained to him not to worry and there were a few simple ways we could get started together until he could see the value in working with someone like me. Long story short- we narrowed Mr T's search and really narrowed in on RSM. After finding a home he really found to be quiet, peaceful, and just for his needs, we wrote an offer & representation agreement! Not only did he say the entire experience was seamless and smooth- he really thanked me for all the HELP. My team and myself were able to negotiate a lower purchase price, have the owner pay our fees, AND also we negotiated a 14K+ credit towards his closing costs. It may not be for everyone, but who do you know that desires a realtor who's no pressure but can drive the results they are after? Whether negotiating a peaceful home purchase or generating top dollar for a home sale. Have them reach out to me directly to make their experience also "seamless and smooth"
