I knew I wanted to get into the real estate business in America, but I knew that I couldn't compare with my competitors unless I myself also planted my roots here and bought property for myself instead of being in the rental cycle, constantly having to keep up with rising rent prices and the instability of moving from one place to another. Within five years of buying a piece of the American dream, I was able to build up enough capital to help me improve my property and also start my own business. Because of my firsthand experience as an immigrant that has come to own property, I can help others plant seeds for generational wealth for their future. I am able to advise buyers on where to buy properties, what to look for, and how to earn more equity, all with the underlying principle of finding a place of your own to call home. My professional life started with 2 years in the corporate world. As soon as I had the capital, I then indulged in my passion for real estate and helping people find homes and get the best deals. I have lived in Huntington Beach for 20 years, a beautiful, resort-like city with a great community. I am very active in my local and church communities; my biggest support system is within the church. My spirituality has helped ground me so that I can be driven by the right motivations rather than just money. I believe that if you are motivated by the right values, the money will follow; if you are only motivated by money, you are likely to quit when you face inconsistent earnings, which is highly common in the real estate business. My motivation comes from knowing I can help people find the best places for them, knowing that I can put my negotiation and communication skills to good use. My record boasts no foreclosures, and the minimum that most of my clients have gained is $150,000-$200,000 over five-year periods. I am very proud of the life I have built here for me and my family. I have a son who has also followed in my footsteps in real estate and property management, as well as a daughter who is with Wells Fargo in online banking program management. My son-in-law used to work with Oracle and is now working with Cloud computing services. I like to think global, and I have expanded my business to include a property in the Philippines that my son helps me manage. My hobbies include yoga, attending church, and helping people invest in their future and find their dream homes.
