I have a few new listings, which is a blessing and keeping me busy (please reach out if you ever need real estate assistance).
But to relax my mind, I need to keep my hands busy doing something else. My newest small project was restoring my mailbox post! Not exactly ‘mine’ but since it’s on my property (and nobody else is going to fix it) I thought I’d get ‘er done. I forgot to take a before photo, but basically the wood was rotted & soft although I did paint it about five years ago, which bought me some time. This time I used pressure-treated wood and also drilled clearance for running wire and mounting a light to the post which I tied into my landscape lighting. then repainted everything. It turned out great and hopefully will now outlast me!
