Sunday, March 8th is the beginning of Daylight Savings Time. Daylight Saving Time is the seasonal adjustment of clocks to extend evening daylight hours. In spring, clocks are set forward by one hour, spring forward, which effectively shifts an hour of daylight from the morning to the evening. In fall, clocks are set back by one hour, fall back, returning to standard time and giving an extra hour of morning light.
