There's a shortage in qualified construction workers, according to a survey conducted in September 2021 by the Associated General Contractors of America. The survey found that 89% of contractors were having a difficult time finding workers who were trained for the job. That affects project timelines — 61% of contractors reported project delays because of workforce shortages.

Enrollment in two-year colleges has dropped nationwide by about 750,000 students. But degree programs in construction trades are booming.

The U.S. corporate tax rate dropped to 21% from 35% after the 2017 tax cut pushed by then-President Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans, but many big U.S. companies pay much less. I think 25% is a fair tax rate for companies to pay.

Looking forward to 3-D printing technology to become more economical and widespread soon. In this case in New York, the home’s foundation and interior and exterior walls were all printed on-site using ARCS technology and not fabricated within the controlled environment of an off-site warehouse before being transported to the site, as is often the case with 3D-printed structures.



The 1,407-square-foot, 3d-printed home may or may not be the first habitable, fully 3d-printed home for sale, but it's certainly a milestone for the tech
