The Department of Revenue sent out this letter this week, and on the back is your new 2026 property taxable amount. The mill rate has not been released yet, so this is not the amount you will owe. However, Only 55% of primary property owners applied for the Homestead exemption. If you are one of the 45% and your taxes increased, feel free to give me a call. I am happy to help point you in the right direction to get you enrolled for 2027.
