**Edit: The tax abatement applications from Montana Knife Company have been postponed to Thursday, June 11.

The commissioners will hold a public hearing meeting at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, where they will:

• consider the Frenchtown Interchange Zoning Initiative to zone approximately 567 acres located at the north end of the Frenchtown Freeway Interchange. https://missoulacountyvoice.com/frenchtown-interchange-zoning-initiative

• consider a resolution to establish a 15-mph school zone speed limit on Potomac Loop and on Potomac Road, install signs on Potomac Loop and Potomac Road and double the fines for speeding in a school zone https://missoulacountyvoice.com/potomac-elementary-school-zone

The commissioners generally hold public hearing meetings at 2 p.m. on the first, second and fourth Thursday of each month in the Sophie Moiese room of the Missoula County Courthouse. Public hearing meetings are not held on the third Thursday. Residents can attend in person or virtually; agendas for these meetings are typically posted online the Friday prior.

Thursday public hearing meetings often include items of broader public interest or items brought forward by the public, including land use decisions and the County budget. If you wish to speak during public comment, please note that each speaker is limited to three minutes.

These meetings are always open to the public and are recorded and uploaded to the County’s YouTube channel.
