We get a lot of questions from first time home buyers about earnest money, what it is, and if you can get it back. 🏡

When you go under contract to buy a West End Farms home, your earnest money deposit signals final commitment and triggers us to start building your home. It is a modest payment and goes toward your final purchase price.

The contract requires us to complete your home and deliver a Certificate of Occupancy before closing. If not, your deposit is typically refundable.
