Before you fall in love with a home, talk to a lender and get your preapproval in hand. It’s one of the most important steps in the buying process, and a key part of submitting a complete offer.

When you make an offer, sellers want to know you’re serious and financially ready. A preapproval letter shows your financing is already in motion and gives your offer legitimacy.

📋 What you’ll need for preapproval:
• Proof of income (pay stubs, W-2s, or tax returns if self-employed)
• Proof of assets (bank or retirement statements)
• Employment verification
• Credit check authorization
• Photo ID

📝 A strong offer usually includes:
• Purchase agreement
• Signed Disclosures
