Last night, we had the privilege of attending True North's Little Black Dress fundraiser event. True North's mission is to empower individuals to create a safer community by providing safety, shelter, education, and transitional support for those affected by intimate partner violence, s*xual violence, stalking, and s*x trafficking.

We donated auction items to the Mouse Race event in support of Coyote Hill Foster Care Ministries last month. We weren’t able to attend because of a scheduling conflict however, April graciously presented us with a nice gesture of gratitude (Bean coffees) and informed us of the thrilling news that the fundraiser surpassed its goal!!! This is wonderful for our community!

We attended the Moberly Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet last night. Congratulations to all of the wonderful nominees and awards recipients, all very deserving! The guest speaker, Holly Hoffman, who was the “last woman standing” on Season 21 of Survivor, gave a powerful message. We enjoyed a wonderful supper and the chamber ladies knocked this event out of the park, every little detail was absolutely perfect!
