🔥 Are you fired up yet? You should be as this month's STREAM Saturday is all about firefighting and combustion! Kids will dive into the science of combustion and fire safety with exciting, hands-on experiments and demonstrations such as creating their own carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, plus a firefighter demo by the Mobile Fire and Rescue Deparment! 👨‍🚒

From learning how fires start and spread, to discovering how firefighters put them out, this STREAM Saturday will spark curiosity while teaching the power of fire and how professionals control it.

These changes were implemented following the 2020 Decennial Census and the City’s annexation of new areas west of the former city limits.

In accordance with federal law, the city completed a redistricting process to ensure fair and equal representation for all residents. As a result, some addresses may now fall within a different City Council district and/or voting precinct than in the last municipal election.

All registered voters should expect to receive a postcard in the mail with updated polling place information. This card will contain all the details you need to know about where to vote in upcoming municipal elections.

To verify your current City Council district, please visit the interactive map at www.cityofmobile.org/city-council-districts. To find your updated voting location, use the City's voting center at www.cityofmobile.org/government/voting-and-elections/voting-centers.
