Sixteen years ago I relocated here from New York, and the move completely changed my life. The culture, the coastal beauty, the people, and the Southern hospitality made the Gulf Coast feel like home almost immediately. Living here has been an incredible experience, and I love helping others discover what makes this area so special.

Before entering real estate, my career was rooted in criminal justice. I served with the Mobile County Sheriff's Office and later worked with the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences assisting in forensic pathology and death investigations with the Medical Examiner's office.

In that role, I helped families find answers and closure during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. That work required precision, compassion, discipline, and the ability to handle complex situations with care.
Those same skills guide the way I serve my real estate clients today.

I handle every transaction with strategy, professionalism, and fierce advocacy. Whether you are relocating into the Gulf Coast or being transferred out of the area, I assist both buyers and sellers throughout the relocation process.

BUILDERS WANTED FOR AFFORDABLE HOMES
The City of Mobile is looking for local builders and developers to help build and sell more affordable single-family homes.

Through a new Request for Qualifications, the City’s Neighborhood Development Department is asking experienced homebuilders and developers to apply to take part in an affordable housing program. Those selected would be responsible for the entire process, including buying or securing property, building the homes, and selling them.

The effort is focused on increasing affordable homeownership within the city limits, with early attention on the Campground Neighborhood. The City already owns some vacant lots but is also open to builders proposing other locations. In some cases, the City may help finance land purchases using local, non-federal funds.

Builders must be able to complete at least four homes. Most houses are expected to be between 1,000 and 1,800 square feet and include features like concrete driveways, basic landscaping, shingle roofs, and exterior designs that fit in with nearby homes. The City says it prefers builders who can meet the FORTIFIED building standard, which is designed to make homes stronger against storms.

Instead of paying a set developer fee, the City plans to cover construction costs through a reimbursement system. Builders would be paid based on the total cost to build each home, including overhead and profit, as laid out in a contract.

To apply, builders must submit information showing their experience, licenses, examples of past work, and business documents. The City will review the applications and may ask follow-up questions before selecting participants.

Applications must be turned in by 4:00 p.m. on February 20, 2026.
