This past week, I attended REALTOR Day at the Capitol in Montgomery, where I had the pleasure of networking with numerous accomplished and notable Realtors from our area and state, all of whom brought a wealth of expertise to the table. While there, we had some time to reconnect with fellow Realtors and make new connections. The legislative visit and reception offered time for us with our legislators and a brief window into their day. A good trip. 😊 Knowledge I hope to bring back to good use.

14 of the 20 sites tested by Mobile Baykeeper have passed testing and are safe for swimming, fishing, and all your other favorite water activities. While we love to celebrate healthy water, not all sites passed – be sure to check out the map and data table to see how your favorite swimming hole did. This week, we resumed testing Chickasaw Creek at Chickasabogue Park.

During the summer season, we test weekly for Enterococcus and E. coli. While these bacteria are not necessarily dangerous on their own, they are indicators that other, more dangerous pathogens may be present. Swimming in water with high levels of these bacteria could potentially lead to serious health issues.
