Nancy joined Five Star in August 2024 and plays a big part in our walkthrough process, helping ensure each home is well cared for and on track. She’s built a strong understanding of both the resident and owner experience that has allowed her to approach her work with balance, clarity, and purpose.
She values being part of a team that supports one another and takes pride in doing the job right. For Nancy, the most rewarding part is helping residents take better care of their homes while giving owners confidence that their investment is in good hands.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her kids and grandkids and heading out for a weekend camping trip. Nancy brings a steady perspective and a genuine care for people to everything she does!

MEET THE TEAM! 🌟
This is Ramiro. Since coming on board last July as our Assistant Property Coordinator he’s been leading six-month walkthroughs, managing work orders, and assisting with HOA follow ups that keep our homes running smoothly! He takes pride in making sure properties aren’t just maintained, but continuously improving. For Ramiro, it’s rewarding to see residents excited about where they live and to watch a property truly transform over time. He’s also big on personal growth! Saying that each month brings new experiences, new lessons, and stronger relationships with vendors, tenants, and owners. Something he considers one of the most fulfilling parts of his role at Five Star. One of his favorite memories so far was October’s themed Fridays, a fun reminder that even in property management there is room for creativity! Off the clock, he’s running, playing soccer or golf, hiking, planning his next trip, or spending time with family and friends. :)

MEET THE TEAM 🌟
Since July 2025, Janessa has been our Assistant Property Coordinator. She works hand in hand with Berenice on turnovers, while also managing utilities, HOA violations, and supporting maintenance. Making sure every property is ready for its next tenant and all the details behind the scenes are taken care of.
What she loves most is visiting different homes and seeing their unique styles. Walkthroughs during move-ins and move-outs are her favorite, especially watching a property transform and knowing her work helped make it ready for the next chapter.
She says property management turns you into a “Jack of All Trades.” Some days she’s coordinating work orders, other days helping owners and renters navigate portals, spotting small repairs, or juggling numbers. Always focused on making sure everyone walks away taken care of.
Outside of work, Janessa enjoys reading, crocheting, cooking, and spending time with her husband. She also cherishes the fun and memorable moments with her team… like dressing up for Halloween or her wedding, shared with coworkers by her side. Every day, she brings thoughtfulness and care to her work, making both the properties she manages and the people around her feel looked after!

MEET THE TEAM! 🌟
Today we are highlighting Kara! Kara has been with Five Star for just over a year as our Maintenance Coordinator. Her role sits at the center of a lot of moving parts, requiring her to track vendor details, owner preferences, timelines, and troubleshooting steps that most people never see but everyone depends on. What Kara loves most about her role is solving problems that matter. A single work order can mean helping an owner maintain their home, making sure a tenant feels comfortable, and supporting a vendor’s livelihood. She takes pride in bringing all of those pieces together and seeing each one through from start to finish. She says being part of a team where everyone’s contributions are valued gives her the support to stay organized, thoughtful, and fully invested in her role. Kara’s downtime usually includes time with her kids, crocheting & crafting, exploring Dry Creek Trail… and winning at Fishbowl. Her combination of focus, humor and care make her a standout part of the Five Star team!
