Congratulations to my seller!! Every transaction is unique in their own way. However this was the first time I had ever had to deal with AT&T 🤦🏻‍♀️ seller (who lives out of area) had what appeared to be an abandoned utility hole in the easement of the property after doing some research I discovered the job ticket was for the VACANT property next-door with AT&T.  I attempted to make numerous calls to numerous different numbers with AT&T including risk management in Chicago with no response. I was told at one point that AT&T was in the process of updating equipment and parts were on back order!
Rant over!!

My REALTOR advice is…
If you notice a hole being dug on your property please make sure to get the job ticket number associated with 811Dig, who ordered it and the information of the company! It may help if you ever end up in a similar situation.
