I celebrate every holiday and I have love for everyone — every culture, every background, every story.
But right now, this moment is Black History Month ✊🏾🖤
And this is for us.
Then vs. Now — Black Real Estate Ownership
The Past:
Black families once owned land, homes, and entire communities at a higher rate than many people realize today. Ownership was our protection, our leverage, and our legacy — until redlining, discriminatory lending, and predatory practices were designed to block access.
2026:
We live in a time with more information, more programs, and more opportunity than any generation before us — yet the ownership gap still exists. That doesn’t mean we failed. It means the work isn’t finished.
This isn’t about exclusion.
It’s about restoration.
Homeownership isn’t just about buying a house — it’s about:
• Stability
• Equity
• Generational wealth
• Choice
I work with everyone, and I stand with everyone.
But this month, I’m intentionally speaking to my community — because ownership has always been a powerful tool in our history.
Black History Month isn’t just about remembering where we came from.
It’s about deciding where we’re going.
If you’re ready to turn history into ownership and ownership into legacy, let’s build — together.
