Where to watch the Charleston Air Show ✈️👇

If you’re heading to Mount Pleasant, grab a spot at Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park — one of the BEST views of the Blue Angels over the harbor. You can also catch it from spots along the waterfront or even nearby public areas with a clear view of the Ravenel Bridge + harbor.

⏰ What to know:
The show is Saturday (May 2) from 1–3 PM over Charleston Harbor — totally free, no tickets needed.

🚗 Traffic tips (read this before you go):
• Expect major congestion + delays getting into Mount Pleasant and downtown
• The Ravenel Bridge will fully close ~1:30–3 PM 🚫
• Lane closures start Friday + earlier Saturday
• Pedestrian walkway closed 10:30 AM–3:30 PM

👉 Translation: get there EARLY, stay put, and don’t plan to leave right after

☀️ Weather vibe:
Warm, possibly cloudy with temps in the 70s and a chance of passing showers — classic Charleston spring, so pack sunscreen and a backup layer ☀️🌤️

✨ Pro tips:
• Bring chairs/blankets + water
• Parking will be limited — consider walking/Uber
• No drones allowed during the show
