📢June Market Report is here!

🏠 June definitely kept me on my toes!
- The average sales price bumped up slightly by 2.49%, landing at $289,748
- Average days on market dipped a bit to 36 days, down from 39 in May.
- We saw a small decrease in the number of homes sold, from 163 to 157, which might be a sign that inventory is tightening up.

🙋‍♀️I'm feeling that last tidbit first hand. Several of my buyers are actively searching, but they are not finding the right fit in the price bracket they need, $150k- $250k price range.
So please, 🙏 if you know of anyone thinking about selling (even off-market), I'd love to connect! I have buyers qualified & ready to go! ✅

🏠May Market Report is here!
So, looks like prices scooted down a tad from April ( 1.3%). But it's still up overall for the year. This small slip could be from the interest rates going back up. Keep in mind that when interest rates go down, prices go up! And vice versa. Rates go up prices go down.
Days on the market is down down 📉 which is good! May came in at 39 days where April was at 42. It's an indicator more people are looking for homes and making offers. 👍
💪Overall I see more movement as the amount of homes sold for Monroe County came in at 163 for May compared to April at 139.
Basically, home buying season is officially here!

🚨SAFETY TIP 🚨

A simple hollow core door will keep your bedroom around 100 degrees while the hall, just outside your door, is 900 degrees. The extra 10-15 minutes that door will give you, is enough time for your smoke detector to wake you up and get yourself outside the home to safety.
