On the eve of the 25th anniversary of the terrible events of 9/11/01, this video is circulating. 9/11/01, the second “day that will live in infamy”. Our hearts go out to all the people who were affected by this tragedy, including all the victims and first responders who also became victims, either on the day or later from health problems.
Remember, always, how we came together to help each other. That is what makes us great.

More Dambo Trolls! Have you visited the trolls around the PNW? Which one is your favorite? Please comment!

Look out, PNW: More Dambo trolls are coming to Washington!

Starting Oct. 15., hikers can visit a traveling exhibit of 12 Thomas Dambo trolls at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma and Northwest Trek Wildlife Park in Eatonville.

These trolls, a part of the “TROLLS: A Field Study” exhibit, will be available to check out through Jan. 24, 2027.

Be careful when you take your dog to local rivers and Puget Sound beaches, as porcupines like these places, too. Your dog will be one very unhappy pup if close encounters happen.

Road Closure in Carnation-Duvall end of the valley this coming week.

You don’t usually hear “124th is closed” at this time of year! This coming Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 19&20, the road will be closed from 9am-3pm for maintenance.
