Flat Rock High School Addition and Renovation. The new 8,400 square foot building addition will connect the existing “dead end” hallways at E and F Wing with a new multi-functional wing that will enhance the high school’s learning environment. The newly renovated high school, including building addition, will include a new art room, robotics lab, learning commons with study rooms, multi-purpose café, men’s and women’s toilet rooms, theatrical lighting | audio visual upgrades to the existing auditorium and a new secure outdoor courtyard.

Having a little fun with AI exploring materiality conditions! Once the overall form was finalized for this recently designed workshop accessory building, we used AI to assist on showcasing various exterior materials options for Owner review. Currently under township review, with an anticipated spring 2026 construction. We can’t wait for this little project to come to life!

A $9.3 million dollar expansion is underway at the City of Monroe’s only community center. City officials broke ground on the project Tuesday.

Our conceptual design for the Northville Farmers Market, along with the tremendous efforts of the Farmers Market Task Force, The City of Northville, Northville Chamber of Commerce, Northville Township, and the many countless volunteers involved has lead to the land acquisition of the McDonald Ford Site. This site will become the home of the Northville Farmers Market and will one day house a year round market that can be used to accommodate the Thursday Market, special events, weddings, and even workshops.

We are excited to welcome architectural intern Madison Morris to our team here at KA. Madison will receive her Master of Architecture in May 2026 from Lawrence Technological University . She is a past scholarship athlete / captain on LTU's varsity volleyball team. She wants to become an architect, so that she can make a positive impact on the world by designing creative and inspiring spaces!
