WHY I LOVE BEING AN AGENT// At the end of the day, real estate is about so much more than houses. It’s about helping people through some of life’s biggest moments. It’s celebrating the wins, navigating the challenges, and being there every step of the way.

But my favorite part? The relationships.

Getting to know my clients, earning their trust, and helping them feel supported long after the closing table is what makes this job so rewarding. Helping people find a place to call home is important. Making people feel cared for along the way is what I love most.

BUYER TIP// One of the biggest misconceptions in real estate is that clicking the "Contact Agent" button on Zillow connects you directly with the listing agent.

In many cases, it connects you with an agent who paid for advertising placement.

Before you start scheduling showings, find an agent you trust first. Then send them the homes you're interested in so you have someone representing your goals from day one!

GETTING THE MOST// Selling for top dollar isn't about luck. It's about strategy.

A lot of sellers focus on the final sale price, but the truth is that what happens before your home hits the market often has the biggest impact on how much you walk away with.

The homes that stand out are the ones that are prepared, priced strategically, and marketed to the right buyers.

The goal isn't just to get your home sold. It's to create demand, attract the right buyers, and put yourself in the strongest position possible.

Thinking about selling in Union, Anson, or Stanly County? I'd love to help you build a strategy that works for your home and your goals.

MONDAY ENCOURAGEMENT // So many of us are carrying burdens we were never meant to hold.

We carry the weight of other people's opinions.
We carry worry about things we can't control.
We carry pressure to have all the answers.
We carry responsibility for outcomes that aren't ours to manage.

And before long, we're exhausted, not because we're doing too much, but because we're carrying too much. The truth is, not everything deserves a place in your hands.

Your job isn't to carry the entire weight of the future. Your job is to faithfully take the next step in front of you.

✅ Focus on what you can control
✅ Release what you can't
✅ Trust that God is working even when you can't see it

This week, take inventory of what you're carrying. If it's stealing your peace, ask yourself: Is this really mine to hold?

If you need a weekly reminder to stay grounded and encouraged, DM “COUNTMEIN” and I’ll add you to my Monday encouragement email ✨

HOME SEARCH HACK 🏡 //

What if the home you’ve been dreaming about isn’t farther out than you think... but your search map is too small?

So many buyers are feeling stuck trying to buy in Union County right now. But what if expanding your search by 20–30 minutes could get you:

✔️ More house
✔️ More land
✔️ A lower payment
✔️ Less competition

I just wrote a blog about why more buyers are considering Wadesboro and Anson County, and featured a home that could qualify for USDA 100% financing. 🚪✨

If you've been saying, "I just can't find anything in my budget," this might be worth a read.

📖 Read the blog here and tell me:

Would you drive a little farther for more peace, space, and affordability?

If you’ve been searching for a home in Union County, NC, you’ve likely felt the frustration of rising prices. Neighborhoods like Monroe, Indian Trail, Wesley Chapel, Waxhaw, and Marshville have seen home costs climb beyond many budgets. But what if expanding your search just a bit could open doo...

MAY RECAP // Lately, I’ve been finding joy in the little things...

☀️ Beach walks and salty air
💬 Encouraging words from clients
🌸 Fresh flowers

🎲 Laughing with sweet seniors at church bingo

💪 Moving my body, usually with a doodle nearby

🏙️ Exploring favorite spots in South End
🏡 Checking in with sellers and helping people take their next steps
🥤 Slow mornings on the porch with a protein tea in hand + Santa pajamas in May because joy doesn’t follow a calendar

This season has reminded me that hope often shows up quietly.

In conversations.
In answered prayers.
In unexpected opportunities.
In an ordinary Tuesday.
In the people God places along our path.

The big moments are wonderful, but lately I’ve been most grateful for the small reminders that good things are still growing.

God has been so kind in the ordinary lately, and I don’t want to miss it. 🤍

NO “PERFECT TIME” // Most buyers are waiting for the perfect time to make a move. Better rates. Lower prices. More certainty. A sign that says “okay, now go.”

And honestly? I understand why.

But the buyers who usually feel the best about their decision later on aren’t the ones trying to perfectly time the market. They’re the ones thinking about their life, their goals, and where they want to be 5–10 years from now.

Because real estate isn’t one-size-fits-all. What makes sense for someone else may not make sense for you.

The right move is rarely about headlines, it’s about your timing, your finances, and your future.
