BREA, as NAR named it, Bosnian Real Estate Association) or Udruženje Učesnika u Prometu Nekretnina, UPN (www.upnbih.org) was founded in 2007 by a group of 5 brokers in Sarajevo, with the help and funding of NAR and Norm Flinn (RIP). Nick Zigic was president from 2010-2018 when we formed the same under the BiH Federation Chamber of Commerce and transferred all our members (52 brokers) to it, terminating the country-wide organization due to inactivity and lack of cooperation with brokers in the RS. Since then we wrote, lobbied, and finally in November 2021 made into law the real estate agency trade law (Zakona o posredovanju u prometu nekretnina u F BiH). A year ago we celebrated the launch of the BiHF real estate licensing exam!! Great achievement! Congrats!
