Your Emergency lights are required to work for 90 minutes in the event of a power outage. Keeney's Exit Company will perform the following servies:

Codes that Govern your Emergency Lighting system:
The codes that govern testing are OSHA 29CFR1910 which states OSHA will deem a business to be compliant with 1910.34-1910.36-1910.37 if they follow NFPA 101 Life Safety Code
NFPA 101- 7.9.2.1 - Emergency illumination shall be provided for not less than 90 minutes in the event of failure of normal lighting.
7.9.3.1.1 -1. Functional testing shall be conducted monthly with not less than 3 weeks and not more than 5 weeks for a maximum of 30 seconds.
3. Functional testing must be conducted annually for a minimum of 90 minutes if the emergency lighting unit is battery powered.
4. Emergency lighting equipment shall be fully operational for the duration of the tests required by 7.9.3.1.l (1 and 3)
5. Written records of visual inspections and tests shall be kept by the owner for inspection by the authority having jurisdiction.
7.10.5.2.1- Requires continuous illumination of exit lights at all times.
7.10.9.2- Requires exit signs connected to battery backup shall be tested and maintained in accordance with 7.9.3
