UPDATE - 3:43 PM: The NWS has extended the Severe Thunderstorm Warning to 4:15 p.m.

UPDATE - 2:50 PM: The NWS has identified a severe thunderstorm over Crosby that is moving East at 35 mph.

UPDATE(2:05 p.m.) The NWS has now issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING for our area until 3:15 p.m. See below for more information.

⛈️ SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH ⛈️
The US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston Texas has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for our area until 8:00 p.m. Strong to severe storms are possible beginning this afternoon and persisting through this evening. Heavy rainfall, hail, and damaging winds will be the main concerns. If you haven't already, please secure any outdoor items, seek shelter, and stay weather aware. When thunder roars... go indoors!
