"I am one of those people who can say that they truly love their job! Real estate is something I have been interested in for over 30 years, but until a friend of mine in the title business said it was something I needed to do, I never seriously thought about doing it. My family quickly joined in the encouragement, and within a few months, I had my license and started a career that I had truly only dreamed about! My supporters include my husband of 36 years, Ray (my biggest fan!), and our 3 kids and their spouses. Megan and Danny, Kirsten and Luke, and Nick and Becca. I also have my grandkids, who are my biggest "whys", Parker, Bennet and Olivia. Before becoming a real estate agent, I was a secretary for 12 years at Barbers Hill Middle School, then after North/South campuses opened, at Barbers Hill Middle School South. Even 5 years after leaving, my school family is still an amazing support system for me, with many friendships that I truly cherish! I have been with Keller Williams Elite since first becoming an agent, and I credit them with giving me the tools and support to learn everything I have needed to become a successful agent. We were a new, small office when I started, and the help I received from our broker, Julia Owens, was crucial in my first transactions (and definitely still do from time to time!) I also enjoy being a mentor to new agents in my office because I remember what it is like to be starting out. Seeing many of them become successful agents is an amazing feeling! Most of my business is referral based, which means my friends have trusted me with their real estate transactions and sent their family and friends to me as well. A house will be the biggest investment you will ever make, and I believe every client deserves to be treated like I would want my family to be treated. I feel that my calling has always been helping others, so seeing the dream of owning a home come true for my clients, and them allowing me to be a part of that, means more to me than they could imagine!"
