Woke up on my last day of vacation to a text from Lizzard that I was #50 in the state for the month of August! Whew! I knew this summer was busy, which is why I was so happy to unplug a bit this week in Maui.

Having volunteered for specialty projects with Meals on Wheels through her church in the past, her teaching schedule previously kept her from running daily routes. Today, she proudly takes to the road as a Meals on Wheels delivery driver in Chambers County, bringing warm meals and friendly visits to local seniors.

I just received this from my brokerage. I made Top 500. 👏🎉

What does this mean?
It is a production award, basically means I’ve done a lot of real estate this year. There’s no set number you have to meet because it’s based on the year that everyone is having.

The designation as Top 500 is given to the top 250 teams and top 250 agents in the entire state of Texas. I have been fortunate enough to make this list for the past seven years. 

Dig a little deeper and it means I get to go see all my top 500 friends at the retreat (which will be in San Antonio this year) in November. It’s always a great time!

Dig a little bit deeper than that, and it means that I have so many clients who have trusted me, depended on me, hired me, and allowed me to guide them on one of the largest financial decisions of their life. 

Thankful. Grateful. And Blessed.
And I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

I don’t share every closing but I had to on this one!! This was a WHOLE TEAM of great people who worked hard to make this happen. First appreciation call out goes to my oh so patient buyers, Bailee and Maddison. They remained faithful during our home search and when the right one revealed itself, they continued to be patient as the seller worked through some issues.
Additionally I would like to thank their lender, Rita McKay - Guild Mortgage for watching the market and her guidance on when the best time to lock (and then the issue of extending the lock and how long)… well done, maam!
Big thanks goes to Allison Harcourt with RE/MAX Excellence for her diligence in helping the seller work through Windstorm issues.
Bigger thanks to Robert Ringo for being THE MAN to solve all our windstorm issues.
And the biggest thanks to Luke East with Perfect Policy Insurance Mont Belvieu for pointing out an issue that needed to be solved.
We executed the contract on this home on May 12th!! That’s 80 days ago!!! Sometimes it’s great to brag about how quickly you can go from contract to close, but on this one, I’m bragging about the diligence and perseverance of all involved.
