Once here, you will quickly understand that this place was never meant to be rented and has the deliberate feel of a cozy family retreat. Our 5,000 sq.ft. beach house is nestled on a wooded dune with 100' of secluded sandy Lake Michigan beach (private). Enjoy relaxing, socializing, or private time on the oversized, wrap-around front porch and watch the sunset. This will probably be the place where you spend the most time. There are 3 Master Suites, 1 on each floor for maximum privacy. Each has its own full bathroom. There are also three additional bedrooms with a shared bath for more guests. This home offers amazing beach access, views, and fun but also “little blu” (An outside playhouse for the kids!) A workout room and a basement built for entertaining! If you're looking for a lake vacation to take the boat, look no further! With a sizable dock space big enough to fit a modest pontoon and a boat launch located conveniently just around the corner, you won't find a better set-up. Make the 15-20 min voyage to Lake Michigan through the White Lake Channel, while checking out all of the amazing homes on the lake. No boat but still want to enjoy the access? We've got you covered. JKS comes with your own paddle boat and kayak rentals can be found a few minutes away at Water Dog Outfitters!

This property is currently undergoing a 2 story addition that will include 2 new bedrooms, 2 new full bathrooms, and a 2nd story patio off the master bedroom that faces the lake! Once completed in Spring, Good Times will have 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and sleep 11! If you've stayed at Good Times before we highly recommend you grab an extra friend or family member and come to see all that Good Times has to offer and all the extra space! Mid Oaks is one of our most quaint cabin-like stays we offer, a true gem tucked back in a wooden private lane. Currently sleeping 6 with 3 bedrooms and 1.5 baths there is room for the family to come and relax and take everything Montague has to offer! There is a 5-minute path to the beautiful lake, a big wooden deck overlooking the back of the house where family cookouts on the grill and Lake Michigan sunsets are a must! Although one of the nights stay we do encourage and recommend trying the Old Channel Inn restaurant that is a short minute walk down the way! We are big fans of the perch dinner and always recommend the homemade bread pudding for dessert! One big thing that we upgraded this season for our guests is central AC to the home, so after a hot sunny day spent at the beach or hiking some trails, come inside, put your feet up and cool down at Mid Oaks cottage! We look forward to hosting you!
