Congratulations to my wonderful clients on their recent home sale and to the lucky new owners who purchased it! ππ π It was an honor to represent the sellers, and I'm grateful to them for not only giving me the opportunity to sell their home but also for trusting my guidance throughout their real estate journey. π ππ
We initially listed the property for sale last October, and less than a week later, mortgage rates skyrocketed above 8%. Given this was the highest level they have been since 2000, it came as no surprise when many buyers dropped out of the market and decided to put their home search on hold.
It was a disappointing start, to say the least. With the lack of buyers' interest and lack of activity from elevated rates, we decided to remove the house off the market and make some adjustments.
Fast forward to late January 2024, and the property is available for sale once again. The first few days of being back on the market, the sellers received a handful of offers above asking price, and as days went by, the number of offers continued to climb.
After a week of showings, we narrowed the choices down to 3 excellent offers based on price, the buyer's financial strength, and their ability to accommodate my clients' needs. Ultimately, the strongest buyer with the overall best offer beat out the highest bidder to win this lovely home. πͺπ¦Ύ
