HUGE SHOUTOUT to the Hampton Township DPW. Today, an ignorant resident snowblowed and shoveled all the snow from their driveway into the road a day after the storm - very troubling! With freezing temperatures and people oftentimes speeding on our road, this could have caused a huge accident. Some concerned residents tried to call the township several times (dialing many extensions) to no avail. It wasn’t until an elected town official was made aware and a concerned resident was able to get ahold of someone at the DPW that the situation was addressed - and addressed immediately! To the DPW - you ROCK, and I want to thank you so very much for your hard and fast work. We truly appreciate it! I sometimes see people slamming on the DPW, and wanted to bring awareness to how they go above and beyond to keep our roads clean and safe during inclement weather (all while oftentimes dealing with some really idiotic people). Thank you, thank you, thank you!😊
