I met these buyers at an open house and we immediately clicked. They were relocating to Santa Barbara and were hoping to find something fun, comfortable, and walkable to downtown. This listing hit the market while they were out of town and (jokingly) I begged the listing agent to not sell it without us, knowing that it was exactly what my clients were after. Serendipitously the buyers were able to race back to take a look and agreed that it was everything they had hoped for. We came in strong, beat out competing offers, and the rest is history.

I am so happy that we were able to make this place work and so excited to have these great clients as new Santa Barbarians.

We initially wrote on a different property but the price got pushed farther than where we thought the value should be. Slightly dejected, we walked away rather than offering more, trusting that another opportunity would present itself. Within weeks we found this amazing Carp Ave listing in a fun, walkable area that has the makings to be Carpinteria's equivalent to the Funk Zone. So happy that we held tight, my clients are over the moon with their new purchase and the possibilities this lot provides.

This was such a great full-circle transaction. I went to Cold Spring School with one of the buyers and was asked to keep my eyes open for a wonderful family home in the district. Serendipitously, my team took on a listing that checked all of the boxes and we were able to put the deal together without the home ever coming on the market.

I have such amazing memories from going to Cold Spring as a kid and It was so gratifying to find my old friend / classmate a home that allows her family to have those same experiences.

It was also incredible to work with my fellow C&H teammates, Jessie Sessions, Realtor and Nancy Hamilton. Together we were able to get both parties exactly what they were after!
