Nurten joins Sotheby’s International Realty after 27 years of financial and sales management experience in the banking industry, including 16 years of service as the branch manager for Union Bank Monterey.
Nurten is passionate about volunteering and lends her expertise to a number of local community service organizations. As a proud Rotarian of 26 years, she is a founding member of the Carmel Sunset Rotary, where she served as the club’s president in the 2020-2021 term, leading the club to be recognized as the Rotary District Club of the Year. Nurten is also a member of the Nonprofit Alliance of Monterey County Award Committee, a role she has enjoyed since 2013.
Nurten is active in the Turkish American community as well. She is the sitting president of the Monterey Chapter of the Turkish American Association of California and has been instrumental in organizing the Monterey Turkish Festival for over 20 years.
