I don’t regret every purchase, but I do wish I’d put more of that money aside. A lot of the successful people I’ve talked to have told me the same thing: they wish they’d saved more early on in their career.

The goal now is to keep growing my business without letting my lifestyle grow right alongside it. Save more, invest consistently, and keep my expenses low while I build.

Still learning this one.

At the beginning of my career, I went a while without making any money. I was struggling to pay rent and genuinely wasn’t sure how I was going to make ends meet.

I was eating 7-Eleven and pizza every day, saving money every chance I could while trying to build my business.

I truly believe that if you want to build something, you have to be willing to make sacrifices. For me, that meant living on less, being careful with every dollar, and continuing to show up even when I didn’t know when it would pay off.

Sharing that part matters too, because it’s part of my story.

Turns out my parents were wrong… you should talk to strangers.

I’ve tried plenty of ways to generate leads, but cold calling has worked best for me. So I doubled down. One conversation can open a lot of doors.

Rock climbing humbled me yesterday.

Back in college, I climbed multiple times a week and got pretty good at it. I hadn’t been in years, and I learned a lesson life keeps teaching me: if you stop doing something, you lose the skill.

It’s true in climbing, and it’s true in business. If you want to be good at something, you have to keep showing up and doing it consistently.

Christina had photos scheduled for an upcoming listing. Before the photographer arrived, she was mopping floors, cleaning the home, and Windexing mirrors, doing whatever it took to make sure the property showed at its absolute best.

Real estate may look glamorous from the outside, but great Realtors aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and do the hard work nobody sees.

That level of care is what sets them apart. 👏
