Long caption, but it might be worth the read
Day 100/100. Done.
I’m writing this with about an hour and a half left in the day, and honestly, that feels like the perfect way to finish this challenge.
The whole point was to prove to myself that I could stay consistent even when it wasn’t convenient.
There were weddings, bachelor parties, weekends out of town with family, the Alcatraz swim, long workdays, and plenty of nights where I really did not feel like figuring out something to post.
But that was the challenge.
And fittingly enough, tomorrow I’m funding a loan for a client who found me through social media.
Until a couple days ago, I thought they had found me on Google. Turns out they had been watching my Instagram videos, then Googled me and reached out.
I love that.
Someone was scrolling Instagram, saw my videos, decided to trust me enough to reach out, and tomorrow they’re going to be a homeowner.
I’ll make a video tomorrow going deeper into what I learned over these 100 days, but my biggest takeaway is this:
Keeping my word to myself is one of the best ways I’ve found to build confidence.
Every time I say I’m going to do something and actually follow through, I trust myself a little more.
One thing that has always helped me is telling other people what I’m going to do. For me, it’s much easier to break a promise to myself than it is to break one to the people I love and respect.
So if there’s something you’ve been wanting to challenge yourself with, pick it and go for it. Tell people. Commit to it. Find a way on the days when it’s inconvenient.
Happy I did this and happier it’s over 😂
