Land law is not determined by assumptions, traditions, or what someone believes the rule should be.

The requirements are written in statute.

Understanding them starts with reading them.

Opinions are common. Interpretations are many.

But the law is written down.

Read the statute.

It's National Surveyors' Week!
Surveyors: Measuring America for 250 Years

Did you know 3 of 4 presidents on Mount Rushmore were land surveyors earlier in their careers?
George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln.
Theodore Roosevelt is generally considered the only non‑surveyor among the four, though some surveying professionals argue his exploratory mapping work also merits that title.

Not “the perfect.”
Not “the ones who got it all right.”
Not “the people who earned it.”

The world.

That means the messy ones.
The doubters.
The ones still figuring things out.
The ones who feel too far gone.

Grace was never meant to be exclusive.
It was meant to be given.

Today seems like a good day to remember that kind of love.

These are the ITEMS MOST NEEDED for the Christmas Food Baskets being prepared by Pleasant Grove Baptist Church's In His Hands Food Ministry (that will be given out to families on December 20th):
Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes (Reg & Sweet)
Dessert Ingredients (Cake/icing and Pie Filling/Crust Mixes)
CANNED Corn, Peas, Carrots, Potatoes, Green Beans
Cooking Oil
Flour
Yams
The ministry would love to provide many of the other items that are listed on the registries, but these staples are items that we are praying we will be able to provide each box with.
NOTE: Some items are only available in limited quantities, so two registries were created, one with Walmart and the other with Amazon.
If God has placed it on your heart to give in some way this Christmas season, and you feel led to give to this ministry, know that no matter how big or how small your order or donation may be, every single item that is placed in each box will be a blessing to a family on Christmas Day.

The true measure of generosity is not in what you give, but in how it nourishes others.

In His Hands Ministry, an outreach program and food pantry ministry of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, is asking for your help in providing shelf-stable foods and staples for the Christmas Food Baskets they are preparing to give out on their December 20th food drive.
