Hoping to buy some summer outfits that are stylish, yet also won’t break the bank? Well, we have a LOCAL Montrose shop that can help you do both: Wilde Merrion Boutique!

Owned by the lovely Brittany (pictured with me!), this shop is one of my favorite places to swing into if I need something new to wear. They have ever-changing inventory that continually gets cycled out so don’t think that they will have the same items the next time you visit. And besides the clothing they sell, their customer service is top-notch!

Honestly, should you decide to check this place out, here’s what you can expect:
Brittany is going to be extremely kind and fun (she always puts up with my sister's and my shenanigans 😅), but she’s also going to be very knowledgeable and helpful in finding what you want in a look. She really strives to make everyone feel comfortable in her space, which is something that has always stood out to me about her boutique.

I just love having a local place to shop at and of course, it just feels good to support another business owner in our community. Here’s to hoping you check out her boutique for yourself!

Unfortunately, my clients couldn’t be here for closing day. So, I told them “no worries, I’ll photoshop you guys in!” Hope this is scrapbook-worthy! 😉

Okay but really – this house almost didn’t get to be theirs.

They lived out of state and were in town for only a week to look at homes and make an offer. We toured multiple places, but nothing felt quite right.

A few days before they arrived, I saw this home come on the market and sent it over to them. At first, they weren’t too interested in it, but at the last minute, we decided to go and take a look. I’m so happy we did!

The moment we pulled into the driveway, I could see their mood shift because we finally found something they were really looking for.

So, although they couldn’t be here, I still wanted to take a photo for the memories. Like I said, I hope the photoshop job suffices. 😉

Have you met Hannah, the owner of The Hive Nail Bar?? My family has gone to her for years and they’ve always had nothing but great things to say about her. As for me, I’ve never really been the “get-the-nails-done” kind of girl – until last week. And now I’m hooked. 😜

I had my first waterless pedicure at her shop (yes, it’s a thing and yes, it’s amazing) and with summer right around the corner, I know it’s not going to be my last!

Should you decide to check her out (and I hope this post persuades some of you to do just that), I’d recommend you give the waterless pedicure a try. Tell her I sent you, give Basil, the shop cat, a pat on the head from me, and enjoy supporting a local Montrose business!

Let's taco 'bout it! 🌮 These are my favorite taco spots in Montrose. Where is your go to spot for tacos? The only wrong answer is telling me you don't like tacos...

1. Tacos 2 Day - My favorite is the shrimp but you can’t go wrong with any order. Unique and always hits the spot.

2. Sinaloa Grill - Pollo Asada taco is my personal fave. If I’m not in the mood for tacos (which is rare), their spin on sushi rolls is another fave!

3. Tacos & Beer Montrose - Street tacos are my go to but the Martin style tacos are definitely worth a try.

One of the best parts of being in real estate? No two days are ever the same - and I mean never.

Have you visited Pagosa Springs yet? If not, you need to check out this town sometime this summer because it is so, SO beautiful! A few weeks ago, I spent some time there and then made my way to New Mexico -- here are just some of the highlights:
- Soaking in the hippy dip
- Checking out the "Mother Springs" (the world's deepest!)
- Of course, hiking in both areas
- Watching hot air balloons take off and land
