Everyone knows about Colorado’s famous mountain towns, but this might be one of Colorado’s best-kept secrets.

Ridgway State Park has mountain views, a swim beach, a giant reservoir for water sports, fishing, hiking trails, wildlife, and sunsets over the San Juan Mountains. 🌅

If you’re planning a Colorado adventure this summer, don’t skip this stop.

Don’t cancel your Ouray trip just yet. ❤️🏔️

Our hearts are still with the brave firefighters working tirelessly on the Gold Mountain Fire. Thank you for everything you’re doing to protect our communities!

While the fire continues, Ouray, Ridgway and Montrose are open and welcoming visitors. The smoke has settled in Montrose, but it cleared as we made our way through Ridgway and into Ouray, where we spent the day at the hot springs and exploring the Baby Bathtubs on the Perimeter Trail with our boys.

If it’s safe to do so, visiting local shops, restaurants, and attractions is a meaningful way to support these incredible mountain towns.

Watching these helicopters refill at Ridgway Reservoir is an incredible reminder of the dedication and courage of those fighting the Gold Mountain Fire. ❤️🚁

A huge thank you to every firefighter and first responder working tirelessly on the ground and in the air to protect our communities.
