I first heard about the Drone delivery from one of my clients who moved to Texas. In fact, texted me a video. Recently, I've read that one Texas suburb near an Amazon distribution center is underneath what residents call a "drone highway," where drones buzz loudly over backyards from 7am-8pm. Neighbors say the constant whirring picks up on weekends, and it can even be heard over household appliances like blenders and TVs. One resident documented 122 drones passing directly over her home in a 10 hour period. Ugh.....is the convenience worth the intrusion?

Frightening.

Colorado’s largest reservoir is only about one fifth full.

Not every closing is a joyful occasion. Today, “SOLD” carried a different weight. This home was more than a piece of property—it was my seller’s childhood home, filled with memories of the parents she lost far too soon. Signing the final documents meant closing the door on a place that had once been her anchor, her history and her safe spot.

There were tears today. But there was also tremendous courage. She is a remarkable young woman with a big world waiting for her, and although this chapter was incredibly difficult to close, I believe she is ready to step boldly into whatever comes next.

I’m especially grateful for the kindness and gentleness shown by the escrow officer and staff at Colorado Title and Closing Services. They recognized that this was more than a transaction and handled a tender moment with genuine compassion.

Some closings are celebrations. Others are goodbyes.
Today was both an ending—and the beginning of a brave new chapter. 🌻💛
