One thing I know for certain is that real estate is deeply psychological. It forces you to grow, adapt, communicate better, manage emotions, and become greater than the person you were when you started.
People are not just buying and selling houses; they are navigating major life transitions. They need understanding, respect, compassion, and someone willing to stand up for them at the negotiation table.
A major influence on how I serve my clients today is my meditation practice. I have meditated since I was young, but in 2023 I attended one of Dr. Joe Dispenza’s weeklong retreats, followed by an advanced event in Washington, D.C., in 2024.
The October 2023 retreat changed the course of my life. After experiencing so much grief from losing two siblings tragically, I returned feeling renewed and began viewing my thoughts, habits, emotions, relationships, and future differently. Dr. Joe’s teachings helped me recognize how much of our lives are shaped by old patterns and how powerful it is to consciously choose who we want to become.
That work has made me more present, emotionally aware, compassionate, and intentional and, surprisingly, a better real estate agent. I listen differently and understand that fear can appear as frustration, stress as indecision, and difficult negotiations may reflect what a move represents in someone’s life.
My job is not simply to complete a transaction; it is to understand the person behind it.
Today, I approach my work and life with gratitude, curiosity, courage, and service. Every day feels like I am living a new life, and I often find myself thinking, wow… I am so grateful I get to experience all of this.
The more I grow personally, the more I realize that becoming better professionally begins with becoming better within myself. Thank you Dr Joe Dispenza my mentor , someone I love greatly ❤️ for providing the avenue of healing through life’s curve balls, ultimately I did the work…
