If you’re in a new home with furnaces in the attic
Many newer homes have 90+% efficient furnaces that produce condensation (water)
With temperatures Friday through Sunday into Monday extremely cold… please switch your fan from auto to ON during this extreme temps.
This will circulate warmer air theough lines and reduce the chance of the lines freezing which could shut off your heat.

Disconnect hoses outside and or cover silcocks Open cabinets to help circulate air under cabinets
Older homes… drip faucets
Shut off yard sprinklers
Keep garage doors closed as much as possible

Bundle up and be safe

If you have a heater unit in your attic, or in your garage, please turn your Fan switch on your thermostat to the “on” position instead of the “auto” position. This will circulate air in your house constantly and through your condensation lines. Those lines can freeze and shut down your hvac unit. This will help move air a little more. Not a guarantee but just helpful. Of course, turn it back to auto when temps are better

Also Disconnect all outdoor water hoses from the house
