When asked:
Is the market shifting, slowing or stalling??? Well our agents put 9 under contract just this weekend, and couple of these were in multiple offers and just a couple days on the market.
Whats the makeup of your agents... We have new the business agents, and we have experienced agents.
So how does Great Homes continue to get this business..... Training! Our agents are being trained to the market, if the market shifts, they shift.

I read a blog this morning that really stood out. One sentence in particular really hit home for me. It simply said "As a nation we are not made for a 1 income family, yet neither a working household." Often I have the conversation with agents who are wanting to grow their business, but they dont have a "real job" so sick kids, field trips or PTO meetings falls on them. I have even had a dad just this week tell me, we hear a kid cough and start discussing whos turn it is call in. All of this is vaild, I have lived it, I watch my friends live it, in fact I'm home with a sick child now. When I'm asked how to overcome this obstacle, I always have the same respone! Real Estate, Coaching, Accountability, and Block Scheduling.

It is POSSIBLE to be a working parent, It is POSSIBLE to be a working household, It is POSSIBLE to be a top producing agent, and still be present. Life is POSSIBLE while growing your career!

On Friday I spent some one on one time with the Executive Director of Greer Relief. During my time there we toured the facilities and I was given a first hand experience of what truly serving our community looks like. Greer relief not only serves Greer, but services Taylors, Duncan, Lyman, Wellford and Startex as well. One of the many programs that Greer Relief serves in a large capacity is Food Assistance. During my tour I saw a board listing the needs and I asked how could I help. Donations was the answer. I took that taught back to my office where I asked the team to help by providing what we can..... From that came the idea of reaching out to everyone I know to build a food drive! Below is a list of the needs, if there's anyway you can help! I will be delivering donations on Friday and I will be happy to meet you and get your donation, or feel free to drop them off directly to Greer Relief at the J.Verne Smith Resource Center.
