PROTECTING YOUR CREDIT
Whether you're a first time house buyer or looking to purchase your next home, your credit score plays a major role in any financial purchase.
The top three credit reporting agencies (Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax) look at your credit history in many different ways. Taking these three easy steps will help determine your loan rate:
1) Know and have all your account records available, e.g., car loans, all credit cards, Pay pal, student loans, and any mortgages.
2) Monitor your credit scores as different loan/credit companies score you with their own system.
3) Read all your credit reports and any information they send you, so that if you see something that does not add up, you can call and check out the item in question. Keeping a close eye on your credit scores will help you when applying for a mortgage/credit card/car loan.
