I was born and raised in Avery County and it has been so heartbreaking to see and hear the devastation and loss felt by our family, friends and neighbors after Hurricane Helene.
Temperatures are dropping fast and cold weather items are needed. I have heard lots of people, both near and far, asking what they can do to help.
Please consider donating a Winter item from the list below to help keep our people of WNC warm. If there is something you would like to donate that is not on list, DM me and we will make it happen!
Items will be collected by ME and delivered by me and friends to the rural mountain communities of Avery, Burke, Mitchell, McDowell, and Yancey Counties. Thank you!
