Let me take a minute of your time to explain what happens when you qualify for just one of the many down payment assistance programs we have available to our area.

Listing Price 264,900
If you get approved for an fha loan ( which is pretty normal in our area) you will need to have 3.5% of the purchase price as your down payment. The math on the listed price above is 9,271.50.
This does not include your closing costs ( another set of fees that are not included with the down payment). Closing costs will vary depending on the lender, a few other fees and the price of the house. For this one I will estimate around 6,000.00. So your total costs for buying this specific home is going to be an estimated $15,271.50
Sounds like a lot right?
Here's where down payment assistance helps you in the best way.
NCHFA offers a grant for qualifiying buyers in the amount of $15,000.00!
Soooo lets say you use this grant... Now all you have to bring is $271.50
Pretty cool right?
$271.50 to own a home doesn't sound anywhere near as scary as the number with the 15k added back .
This opportunity does not just apply to the house in the photos. You can almost use the grant on the majority of our local homes for sale.
