As summer winds down, we’re seeing a 1.2% uptick in new home listings across the U.S.—the highest we’ve had in three months. At the same time, pending sales dropped 1.3%, now at their lowest point since March. Even with a 1.8% annual increase in the median sale price, the median asking price dipped by 0.1%. These shifts reflect the ongoing influence of higher mortgage rates and economic uncertainty.
