Instead of boasting ad nauseum about awards and accomplishments you’re not interested in, I’m taking the novel approach of actually giving you what you want — real answers to questions you’re probably wondering about me right now. alls and emails? Without question. I realize this is one of the major frustrations the general public has with dealing with agents. I get dozens of calls and emails daily, and I work hard to reply as quickly as possible. I’ve met many Realtors who are jerks. Are you? Not at all!! You can ask anyone. BUT if my clients need something I will try my hardest to get that for them. So if that makes me a jerk to other agents so be it. My clients are first in every transaction. Here's what I can tell you: I'm honest and candid. I take pride in being approachable and friendly. And if you need a quick real estate brain, or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends is one of my core values. Want to really find out if I’m a jerk? Mess with one of those people. Do You Have experience doing exactly what I need? I worked with Jerry in the last quarter of 2015 to find a house in Morgan, Utah. I had been looking for some time in other areas, but after I found Morgan and wanted to settle there, I spoke to several people who lived there and asked about who they would recommend I contact to find a house. Their first recommendation was to speak to Jerry, and they give me his contact information without hesitation, telling me Jerry was THE person I needed to speak to. Right before I contacted Jerry, I found a property that I did not see earlier in the main Utah real estate listings. After making contact with Jerry for the first time about this property, I soon realized that the referral to Jerry I had been given was invaluable. When I mentioned the property for sale I had just found, he knew exactly of the property I was referring to. After a short discussion, I found Jerry immediately prepared to give me one hundred percent of his time and energy in working up an offer on this house. During this process, I quickly found that Jerry's knowledge of the area, market, and community was impressive. Any questions I had about the area, he could fire back an answer to without hesitation. Needless to say, I was impressed. I was also impressed at how quickly and accurately he was able to get me to a point of making an offer on this property. Having Jerry on my side when it came to submitting and negotiating an offer was very comforting. He was able to explain all aspects of the home buying process in ways I could understand, and as a first time home buyer, this was exactly what I needed. He was right by me and supported me through the negotiations needed, a process I was completely unfamiliar with. When an offer was accepted and it came time for financing, Jerry had the information and contacts I needed to proceed with financing. The contacts he gave me were great people to work with and I found them extremely helpful, patient, and so friendly. When it came to the home inspection, radon testing, and other necessary items that needed to be done, Jerry was proactive in contacting me and keeping me informed through all that went on. Jerry also was proactive in making contact with me every so often as we were waiting for the closing date, both to make sure everything was ready to go for closing, but also to make sure my questions were answered and I was taken care of. As it came closer to closing time and I spoke with more people in the community about the property I was wanting to purchase, I learned something about Jerry that I did not know. Jerry is well known in the community and is actively involved with the Morgan community through service, doing many things to enrich the lives of those who live in Morgan. Giving back community he lives in speaks highly of Jerry as an individual. Through the closing process, Jerry was available to me at all times, allowing the process to go smoothly and without hiccup. And it was great to have Jerry contact me after closing at several times to make sure everything was okay, I was okay, and that everything had been taken care of. Jerry Pierce is everything right in real estate. I am a first time home buyer and was more than nervous about making the huge leap to find and purchase the right home. Job Title: Part-Time Reservations Specialist
Location: Remote and In-Office Hours in Eden office. (Preference for candidates familiar with Eden, Huntsville, Mountain Green, & Morgan Utah)
Hours: 28 hours per week

Friday & Saturday: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM (in-office from 10 AM – 4 PM and remote the other hours)

Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 PM – 10 PM(REMOTE, responding to online rental inquiries)

About Us:
We are a growing vacation rental business offering high-end, well-maintained homes in scenic Utah locations like Morgan, Mountain Green, Eden and Huntsville. Our mission is to provide exceptional guest experiences from first inquiry through checkout. We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Reservations Specialist to join our team and help manage the guest booking process.

Position Summary:
The Part-Time Reservations Specialist is responsible for handling guest inquiries, securing bookings, and providing timely, professional responses to potential renters. This role requires strong customer service skills, a proactive and friendly attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to guest inquiries through platforms such as Airbnb, VRBO, Bookingdotcom, and our Website using our apps

Manage reservations, calendar availability, and booking details accurately

Provide friendly, informed communication to potential renters

Answer calls and online messages during scheduled shifts

Coordinate with operations staff to ensure reservation details and response to questions are communicated effectively

Document guest communications, quotes, and reservation updates in system

Proactively follow up with potential renters to secure bookings

Qualifications:

Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

Multitasking skills are essential.

Previous experience in hospitality, property management, or vacation rentals preferred

Familiarity with booking platforms (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, Bookingdotcom, property management tools) a plus

Comfortable using technology and managing online communication platforms

Self-motivated, friendly, reliable, and organized

Knowledge of the Eden and Huntsville area is a strong advantage

Compensation:
Bi-weekly pay based on experience.

Imagine you’re searching high and low for that perfect home 🏡 every open house, every listing, until you finally find ‘the one.’ But here’s the kicker: there’s a lien on it. 😬

Liens can be attached to properties, meaning any debt or legal claim follows the property itself, not the owner.

Here’s what you need to know:

✅ Mortgage liens – These stay on the property until the mortgage is fully paid. Make sure all mortgage liens are resolved before you buy.

✅ Income and property tax liens – Unpaid taxes? These could mean the government has first rights on the property’s sale. Check for any tax liens early on.

✅ Judgment liens – If there was a court case against the previous owner, a judgment lien might be attached. This needs to be cleared before moving forward.

✅ How to check for liens – Start with public records searches or work with a title company to uncover any claims on the property.

✅ Removing a lien – Insist that the seller clears all liens before closing to avoid any lingering issues!
