The WNC Bigfoot Festival is happening August 29th, right here in Marion, NC!
It’s one of those events that reminds you just how much fun it is to call McDowell County home.
Sure, there’s Bigfoot. Or Sasquatch. Or whatever you call the big hairy guy where you’re from. 😂 There’s great food, Bigfoot merchandise, calling contests, vendors, and plenty of things you probably never knew you needed with Bigfoot on them.
But one of the BEST parts of this weekend is the people.
It’s our locals who make visitors feel right at home and the Bigfoot enthusiasts who roll into town and call McDowell County home—even if it’s only for a few days.
