🎃🧡 IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN! 🧡🎃

Last year, we hung baskets for our shelter dogs and you all went absolutely CRAZY for our little boos. 🥹🧡 So why would we deprive them of that kind of fun again?!

🎃 ITS OUR 2ND ANNUAL BOO BASKET BASH! 🎃

And it’s SIMPLE!

👻 Make something
👻 Buy something
👻 Bring something gently used

Then come to Harrison County Animal Control and help fill a basket for one of our pups! 🐶🧡
And you DO NOT have to fill an entire basket by yourself! That’s the whole point of this being a COMMUNITY PROJECT! Everyone can contribute a little, and together we can fill them ALL! 🥰

We have 16 large dog kennels, so we’ll have plenty of boos to spoil! 🐾 We’ll also have a couple of baskets set up for our cat crew because they deserve some Halloween fun too! 🐱🎃

🐦 Fall Bird Walk
Saturday at 8:00 AM at Prickett’s Fort in Fairmont. This free guided walk focuses on fall migration. Bring sturdy shoes and binoculars if you have them!

🥾 Coopers Rock Trails
Open from 9:00 AM–5:00 PM in Bruceton Mills. Enjoy more than 50 miles of trails and beautiful mountain scenery. Please note that the main overlook is currently closed for bridge work.

🎃 Fall Family Fun Fest
Saturday from 10:30 AM–8:00 PM in Clarksburg. Admission is free and includes food trucks, local vendors, games, pumpkin painting and family activities. Optional inflatable wristbands are $10.

🏈 WVU Gold Rush Game
Saturday at Milan Puskar Stadium—wear gold! Free pregame fun at Almost Heaven Village runs from 3:30–6:30 PM, followed by kickoff against Oklahoma State at 7:00 PM.

🌿 West Virginia Botanic Garden
Open from dawn to dusk in Morgantown. Admission is free, with a suggested $5 adult donation. Explore more than four miles of peaceful woodland trails.

☀️ The weekend forecast is looking good for outdoor plans—partly to mostly sunny with highs around 71–74°F. Bring a light layer for the cooler morning and evening temperatures!
